One of EDM’s most recognisable partnerships is officially back together on stage.
Like Mike reunited with his brother Dimitri Vegas on September 30 at Ushuaïa Ibiza, joining him for the closing night of Tomorrowland’s 2026 residency on the island. The appearance marked Like Mike’s return after temporarily stepping away from touring earlier this summer to focus on his health and recovery.
For months, Dimitri Vegas had continued performing some of the duo’s major festival commitments alone, making the Ibiza reunion particularly significant for fans who have followed Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike through more than a decade of mainstage electronic music.
Their return together happened in one of the most symbolic settings possible.
Ushuaïa Ibiza has become a global reference point for large-scale outdoor electronic shows, and the Tomorrowland residency has brought the Belgian festival brand’s high-production aesthetic directly to the White Isle throughout the summer.
Closing that residency with both brothers behind the decks gave the final event an additional emotional dimension.
The reaction from fans was immediate. Social media posts following the event were filled with messages welcoming Like Mike back and celebrating the return of the duo.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike remain one of the most commercially successful acts to emerge from the EDM boom of the 2010s. Their career has been closely tied to Tomorrowland, where they became regular mainstage headliners and developed a performance style built around high-impact festival records and direct crowd interaction.
The reunion in Ibiza also appears to mark the beginning of a wider return to touring.
The duo are currently scheduled to perform together in Mexico City on October 31 at Monumental Plaza de Toros México.
For the global dance music scene, the Ibiza appearance was more than another closing-party performance.
It was the return of a partnership that has helped define the sound and spectacle of modern mainstage EDM.
